North Callaway volleyball takes fourth at Hallsville

HALLSVILLE, Mo. - The North Callaway Ladybirds finished in fourth place at the Hallsville Invitational on Saturday after losing the third-place volleyball game to the Centralia Lady Panthers in three sets.

North Callaway (4-8) reached the third-place game after going 1-1 in pool play. The Ladybirds were swept by the Hallsville Lady Indians and swept the Brookfield Lady Dogs

"I was really happy with how well the girls played, especially after a busy week of games," North Callaway head coach Jessica Hager said. "We were able to get a win against Brookfield and showed a lot of improvement in the Centralia game after just losing to them in two sets on Thursday."

North Callaway plays an Eastern Missouri Conference game at Wright City at 5:30 p.m. today.
