The Lady Blue Jays were chosen to finish third in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference this season in the preseason coaches' poll announced Wednesday.
Westminster College - which was 13-14 overall and 11-7 in the SLIAC in 2018 - compiled 66 points and two first-place votes in the poll.
The Lady Blue Jays return three all-SLIAC picks from last year's team. Junior middle blocker Natalie Needy was a first-team choice, junior middle blocker Sarah Rivers was a second-team pick and senior setter Teresa Becker was a third-team selection.
Westminster kicks off its season at the Washington University Tournament on Aug. 30-31 in St. Louis.
