ST. LOUIS - The Westminster College Blue Jays have now reeled off three straight wins after dropping four consecutive at the Nebraska Wesleyan Tournament a few weeks ago.

On Saturday, Westminster (5-7, 4-0 SLIC) swept Spalding first 25-18, 25-19, and 25-20. Freshman middle blockers Natlie Needy and Sarah Rivers led the Blue Jays with seven kills apiece to lead Wesminster.

In the second match of the day the Blue Jays once again swept their opponent Fontbonne 25-19, 25-20, and 25-20. Sophomore setter Teresa Becker's 33 assists were instrumental in the Blue Jays' offensive flurry.

Senior outside hitter Hannah Marshall led the Blue Jays with 15 kills while sophomore outside hitter Ashley Kistaitis added 12 of her own.

The Blue Jays will look to remain undefeated in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play in Elsah, Ill. against Principia at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
