MOBILE, Ala. - The William Woods University women's and men's tennis teams continue to match each other in marching ahead in the bracket at the NAIA national championships.
The William Woods women and men both advanced to quarterfinal play with second-round victories Wednesday. The Lady Owls fended off San Diego Christian College 5-3, while the Owls shut out No. 8 seed Arizona Christian University 5-0.
The William Woods women - reaching the NAIA quarterfinals for the second year in a row - square off against No. 3 seed SCAD Savannah at 1 p.m. today.
