Jennifer Books of the American Red Cross said there will be a blood drive Tuesday at Grand Prairie Baptist Church in Auxvasse.
"We are still under an emergency appeal," she said.
Due to the bad weather and recent holidays, ARC has less than a three-day supply of most blood types. Books said the agency tries to keep a five-day supply available to be prepared for emergencies and more.
This blood drive will be from 2-6 p.m. in the church's Fellowship Hall at 104 N. Main St. To schedule a donation, people may also call 800-733-2767, or visit redcrossblood.org and enter: AuxvasseMO.
