Three arrested in meth-related incidents

Deputies made three methamphetamine-related arrests across the county this weekend, said Lt. Curtis Hall of the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.

The first arrest took place Friday, near Millersburg. A deputy stopped Jerry Weide, 48, of Millersburg, at 3:19 p.m. on Route J for a traffic violation. While investigating, the deputy located methamphetamine and marijuana, Hall said.

Weide was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail and later released after posting a $4,500 bond.

The same day at 11:43 p.m., a deputy patrolling U.S. 54, near Kingdom City stopped Casey Spalding, 29, of Shelbina, for a traffic violation. The sheriff's office K9 unit responded to assist with the investigation, which uncovered methamphetamine and a firearm, Hall said.

Spalding was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony unlawful use of a weapon and driving while revoked. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail and his bond set at $6,500.

Also, deputies and the mustang drug task force executed a narcotics search warrant at 4:56 a.m. Friday in the 3400 block of Route AA, near Holts Summit. The searchers found methamphetamine, marijuana, firearms and drug paraphernalia, Hall said.

After the search, James Selph, 35, of Holts Summit, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony unlawful use of a weapon and possession of marijuana. Hall said Selph was taken to the Callaway County Jail and held on a court-set $10,000 bond.

Missouri Highway Patrol reported no weekend accidents in Callaway County, but several arrests were made.

Crystal M. Parsons, 39, of Fulton, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Sunday on driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.

Dale Patterson, 43, of El Paso, Texas, was arrested at 9:29 a.m. Sunday for stealing (valued less than $150).

Rose A. Carlisle, 44, of Holts Summit, was arrested at 4:19 p.m. Saturday on a Jefferson City Police Department misdemeanor warrant, failure to signal.

Zachary A. Jones, 22, of Owensboro, Kentucky, was arrested at 10:43 p.m. Friday on several charges and put in the Callaway County Jail. Charges include: possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana (11-35 grams), possesson of drug paraphernalia, and speeding 91 in a 70 mph zone.

Pierre Henderson, 20, of Fulton, was charged at 6:20 p.m. Friday with speeding 89 mph in a 70 mph zone, no valid license and identity theft (impersonation). He was placed in the county jail.

Lindsey M. Rotter, 30, of Jefferson City, was arrested at 1:27 p.m. Friday for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony hindering prosecution/obstructing justice. She was placed in the county jail.
