Six business looking for workers will be on hand today at a job fair presented by the Callaway Chamber of Commerce.
"We really want to get as many people out to that as we can and support these businesses in this community," said Bruce Hackmann, economic development director.
Participating businesses include Mid-America Precast, AZZ/Central Electric Co., Dollar General Distribution Center, Danuser Machine Company and Henderson Products.
"We did add another that's going to participate," Hackmann added. "Sinclair Research Center - it's just out in Callaway County - is going to participate as well, so we have six good businesses and industries in this county that are going to be a part of this and are hiring."
The job fair will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Callaway Electric Cooperative. The Co-op is off County Road H, at 1313 Cooperative Drive, Fulton.
Hackmann said the job fair is a good opportunity for job seekers to fill out multiple applications in one setting with quality employers who are currently hiring. Jobs range from unskilled to silled positions
