William Woods University students attended a winter pep rally and courtwarming Friday night. The school cheered on its mens' and womens' basketball teams and played games for gift cards to local businesses.
The pep rally also featured the 2014 courtwarming candidates which included juniors and seniors. Candidates were: Darian Lightfoot, AJ Housewright, Lindsey Cornelius, Nate Bitner, Alicia Delaney, Cruz Buchanan, Amy Gibson, Benjamin Stuemph, Lacee Floyd and Alex Stear. Cornelius and Bitner were crowned queen and king Saturday in between womens' and mens' basketball games.
