Hornets have to focus on duties, being in right spot

Alignment and assignment.

It's not just alliteration or a nice rhyming play on words. It is, but there's more to it for Fulton head football coach Pat Kelley.

It's what his Hornets are going to need to do in their 2013 season opener against the School of the Osage Indians.

"Alignment and assignment is 95 percent of the battle and knowing where to align and knowing where your assignment is, is the biggest part of the game," Kelley said Tuesday afternoon at practice. "So we have to make sure we're solid there and then everything else will fall into place."

Fulton and Osage open up at 8 tonight at Robert E. Fisher Stadium. Kickoff has been pushed back an hour to allow for cooler temperatures.
