'Tis the season for giving

The final float in the Fulton Jaycees Christmas Parade Saturday afternoon was a trailer piled with food donated by all of the parade participants. In addition to the 9,546 pounds of canned and dry goods brought to the parade, enough money was donated to purchase an additional 5,364 pounds, bringing the total amount donated to SERVE to 14,910 pounds of food. The Callaway Bass Anglers brought in the largest donation giving the equivalent of 1,200 pounds of food.
