Women in custody after drug search

Two area women were taken into custody Thursday night after a search warrant executed at a residence on Glover Street yielded drugs.

At 8:40 p.m., the Fulton Police Department and the MUSTANG Task Force served a narcotics search warrant at 104 Glover St. in Fulton.

"It was a MUSTANG-generated search warrant," said Maj. Roger Rice with the FPD. "They developed the case and came to us and we assisted in serving the warrant."

Laikyn Anderson, 25, of Fulton, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was taken to the Callaway County Jail pending $5,000 bond.

Amanda Clubb, 38, of Mexico, was arrested on an outstanding Audrain County warrant for failure to appear, with a bond of $3,000.

According to a Fulton Police Department press release, the investigation is ongoing.
