Deputies report several arrests

On Wednesday afternoon, Callaway County deputies, including the department's K9 unit, arrested a California man.

Donald Wolverton, 55, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance/meth and taken to jail. He later posed a $6,500 bond and was released pending court appearance.

Wolverton was arrested at 2:29 p.m. in the course of an investigation on Missouri 94 near Cooper Drive, in southern Callaway County. K9 Iro alerted on the suspect vehicle leading to the discovery of meth and subsequent arrest.

Callaway County deputies also made two overnight arrests Wednesday.

At 1:43 a.m., deputies including the sheriff's K9 unit were conducting a criminal investigation in the 3000 block of Gold Road in Kingdom City and located a wanted fugitive.

Kimberly Dinwiddie, 32, of St. Charles, was wanted on felony offenses including meth possession, stealing and forgery. She was taken to the Callaway County Jail and held on a $65,000 bond.

In this investigation, Dakota Boyles, 27, of Columbia, was also located. He was wanted in Boone County for felony possession of a controlled substance, and also in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the jail on a $15,000 bond.

At 2:20 a.m., a deputy was patrolling Route AA near County Road 488 outside of Holts Summit. During the proactive patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Joshua Walton, 32, of Columbia, for a traffic violation.

Deputies found Walton to be in possession of cocaine and he was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. Walton was taken to jail and later posted a $4,500 bond and was released.
