The Missouri State Highway Patrol seized more than 11 pounds of marijuana, plus 7.5 pounds of ‘marijuana-infused liquid,’ in a Monday traffic stop. Three were arrested.

Three Fayetteville, North Carolina men were arrested Monday in Callaway County after the Missouri Highway Patrol found large amounts of marijuana products in their vehicle.

Kendrick Woodrup, 25 was driving a vehicle with passengers Antonio Jones, 25 and Tristan Nunnery, 22 when they were pulled over at about 11:20 a.m. for tailgating.

According to MSHP Troop F's Sgt. Scott White the violation occurred on I-70 and the vehicle pulled into Gasper's in Kingdom City. The officer making the stop could smell marijuana upon approaching the vehicle, he said.

During the subsequent search of the vehicle, the officer uncovered 11.5 pounds of marijuana and 7.5 pounds of what the arrest report describes as "THC-infused liquid," along with drug paraphernalia. The three men were taken into custody and brought to the Callaway County Jail.

Each man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony. Woodrup was also charged with following a vehicle too closely, a class C misdemeanor, according to Missouri Casenet.

Woodrup has since posted a $4,500 bond.
