Fulton police arrest 3

Fulton police officers made three unrelated arrests over the weekend.

Officers conducting a patrol of city parks and walking trail at 1:30 a.m. Saturday made contact with Branden Akers. Akers, 34, had an active Missouri felony parole warrant for his arrest. The Fulton man was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Callaway County Jail to be held without bond.

A caller reported a careless driver at 6:53 p.m. Friday near East Avenue. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the occupant of a parked vehicle matching the caller's description. He was identified as Cyrus Coy, 25, of Fulton. Police found drug paraphernalia on his person, according to a Fulton Police Department arrest report.

Coy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to the Callaway County Jail. His bond was set at $500.

Officers were called to a theft in progress at 6:35 p.m. Thursday at Factory Connection at 1855 N. Bluff St. The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Mitchell Suhr, of Fulton, was found nearby. Officers recovered the stolen merchandise, along with two types of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

Suhr was arrested for misdemeanor stealing, two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on summons.
