Kingdom City has two offices on the ballot for April, City Manager Curt Warfield said.
Allen Flood-Thompson and Denise Shaw are running for two trustee positions. Both are incumbents, Warfield said.
Candidate filings for the April municipal election closed Tuesday across the county. Some cities, including Mokane and Auxvasse, have positions for which nobody filed. By Missouri law, write-in candidates for those offices need not file a declaration of intent.
Anyone wishing to run as a write-in candidate for an office for which candidates have filed must file a declaration of intent by the second Friday before Election Day.
