Fulton FBLA attends leadership conference

Members of the Fulton Future Business Leaders of America Chapter recently attended the 2019 Missouri FBLA Leadership Conference on April 14-16 in Springfield.

FBLA is a career and technical student organization for all high school students participating in business programs. More than 5,000 members and advisers representing more than 400 chapters throughout the state met to elect state officers, transact business of the state chapter, participate in leadership and career workshops, and compete in the state leadership awards program.

Placing and advancing to the National Conference in San Antonio, Texas, this summer is Cody McReynolds who received first in Who's Who in FBLA. She will represent Missouri, along with the Missouri FBLA president and Missouri FBLA Adviser of the Year at the parade of states at the opening session June 28. In addition, Heidi Royer placed fifth in Business Communication, Tatianna Fletcher placed sixth in Client Services, and Heidi Royer and Erin Brady placed ninth in Business Ethics. The chapter also received the Gold Award and several other awards.

The National Leadership Conference will be in San Antonio, Texas, on June 28-July 2.
