Deputies arrest wanted felon

KINGDOM CITY - A man wanted in Tennessee was apprehended at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday by Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies.

Law officers were notified of a disturbance in the 3000 block of County Road 211 in Kingdom City. At the time of call, deputies were notified one of the involved subjects had left the area on foot.

A deputy in Kingdom City located the subject one minute later. He was identified as Timothy Clowers, 60, a wanted felon for a probation violation for felony possession of methamphetamine.

Clowers was taken into custody and transported to the Callaway County Jail. Clowers is being held without bond pending extradition proceedings for his return to Tennessee.
