On Wednesday, 29 members of Fulton's Future Business Leaders of America chapter travelled to Busch Stadium for the 2018 Cardinal Career Day.
There, the students heard a panel discussion from members of the St. Louis Cardinal's front office emceed by Tom Ackerman, KMOX sports director. Panelists were Dan Farrell, senior vice president of sales for the St. Louis Cardinals; Alex Rodrigo, group vice president, Sports and Entertainment Operations for the St. Louis Blues; Jen Langosh, Cardinals Beat writer at MLB.com; Katherine Hessel, a reporter for Fox 2/KPLR 11; and Robyn Althoff, traffic director for Fox Sports Midwest.
After the panel discussion, students attended a college fair from over 15 area colleges from Missouri and Illinois. At the conclusion, the students enjoyed a beautiful day and watched the Cardinal's 4-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
