The end of 2018 is drawing to a close, but the Callaway Chamber of Commerce still has plenty of events to offer.

Executive Director Tamara Tateosian said there is still time to sign up for the 2018 Pitch Competition.

Do you have a business idea or planning to expand your current business model? Are you ready to pursue opening your own business or adding a key element for your customers?

The 2018 Pitch Competition presented by The Callaway Bank is scheduled Nov. 5 at the chamber office, 510 Market St. in Fulton. Applications to pitch are available on the chamber website at callawaychamber.net. For more information, contact Tateosian at [email protected].

Advertisement sales for the 2019 Chamber Community Profile and Membership Directory will be starting in the coming weeks. John Speck with Speck Publishing will be contacting chamber members about ads. If members have had any changes to their businesses such as address, representatives, phone number, contact Tina Knipfel ([email protected]) by Oct. 30 to make those changes. This will ensure your listing is correct in the directory.

Registrations are underway for the 2018 College and Career Fair for local high schools. For more information, contact Knipfel. This event will be from 5:30-8 p.m. Oct. 16 at Fulton High School.

Preparations are underway for Christmas Shop Local program. In the coming weeks, retail and restaurant owners will receive calls from chamber intern Destiney Speech about planned activities.

The Festival of Lights at Veterans Park is scheduled for Nov. 30. The Chamber Train will be at the park from 5:30-7 p.m. with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Make plans to stop by the train to get pictures made with the merry pair.
