A Jefferson City man was arrested in Fulton on Tuesday, according to Callaway County Sheriff's officials.
Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies came into contact with Nicholas Porter, 27, while conducting a criminal investigation in the 500 block of Churchill Drive at 1:33 p.m. Porter, who is a convicted felon, was found to be in possession of a firearm.
Porter was arrested for unlawful (felon in) possession of a firearm and transported to the Callaway County Jail. He was booked/processed and later posted a court-set bond of $4,500.
