NEW BLOOMFIELD - A New Bloomfield woman wanted in Osage County for felony drug trafficking was arrested Friday afternoon.

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office continues to assist the Osage County Sheriff's Office with the stolen property investigation in Osage County.

Callaway County deputies also arrested Paul Kremer, 31, of Jefferson City, on Thursday afternoon.

A Callaway County deputy was patrolling Autumn Ridge Drive near Holts Summit, saw Kremer operating a vehicle, and knew him to be a wanted fugitive for felony stealing in Boone County, Sheriff Clay Chism said.

The deputy stopped Kremer and took him into custody. During the roadside investigation, Kremer was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, in addition to stolen property from Osage County. The stolen property was recovered.

Kremer was transported to the Callaway County Jail. The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney formally charged Kremer on Friday with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and stealing. As of Friday, Kremer remained in custody on a court-set bond of $31,000.
