Moniteau County vehicle stop leads to drug arrest

A vehicle stop led to a drug arrest last week in Moniteau County.

The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department reported the incident occurred Friday on Missouri 87, just outside California.

Deputies conducted stopped a southbound vehicle driven by Zacharey Martin, 27, of California.

A search of the vehicle by K-9 Mizzou turned up what was described as a "substantial amount" of methamphetamine.

Martin was taken into custody for delivery of a controlled substance.
