4 arrested in Auxvasse

 

Four Callaway County individuals were arrested in Auxvasse after Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call Jan. 17 about a theft, Lt. Curtis Hall said in a news release.

At about 11:50 p.m., officers arrived on the 200 block of Morgan Street and found the four suspects. Deputies recovered stolen property and found narcotics and drug paraphernalia, Hall stated, and the four were taken into custody.

Joseph Swims, 27, of Auxvasse, was arrested for stealing. Bonnie Thomas, 25, of Fulton, was arrested on a St. Charles warrant for a traffic violation, for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. David Bulson, 45, of New Bloomfield, was also arrested for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. And Devin McCaleb, 19, of Fulton, was arrested on two St. Charles County felony warrants, one for burglary and the other for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

The four detainees were taken to the Callaway County Jail, where Thomas remains on a $4,500 bond.
