For the second year, United Credit Union employees decided to "Share the Love" with communities they serve. Each of the six UCU locations partnered with charities in their community to support year round.
Every February, employees have a Valentine's Day competition to see which of the branch charities will win a $1,000 donation from UCU. Starting February 1st, a post went live on the company Facebook page with images representing each branch charity. It was then up to each branch and their community to get the most votes (likes) by noon on Valentine's Day.
The competition was fierce as each branch battled to bring the win to their community. The Fulton branch was able to pull a win for SERVE with the help of the community. The Fulton staff reached out to community leaders, businesses and our members to help spread the word.
UCU was able to donate $1,000 to such a worthy organization and employees look forward to partnering in the future.
