HOLTS SUMMIT — A Holts Summit man was arrested Monday following a reported domestic dispute, according to Lt. Curtis Hall, of the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office.

At 12:33 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in process in the 1100 block of South Summit Drive. While investigating, deputies determined that the suspect, Gordon Weathers, 57, had left the residence before deputies arrived. Deputies were told Weathers was armed, Hall said.

Deputies located Weathers near U.S. 63 in the south part of Callaway County. Weathers had a firearm in his possession, Hall said. Due a past Greene County felony conviction, Weathers was prohibited from possessing firearms.

Weathers was arrested without incident for domestic assault and two counts unlawful possession of a firearm. He is being held at the Callaway County Jail without a bond pending a judge bond setting, Hall added.
