Weekend crashes reported

A motorcyclist was injured seriously on Sunday when a car hit his bike in Osage County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Seak K. Troupe, 23, of Lee's Summit, was injured in an accident reported at 8:42 p.m. on U.S. 63 at state road 133.

He was driving a 1981 Honda motorcycle when a 2006 Chevrolet Impala driven by Luke D. Horstman, 20, of Mokane, turned into his lane, hitting him head on.

 

Another accident was reported at 2:40 a.m. Sunday on eastbound Interstate 70 at the 151.4 mile marker.

The driver, Roy J. Caine, 33, and Hollisha Caine, 36, both of Amite, Louisiana, were slightly injured when their 2017 Kenworth motor truck went off the left side of the road, hitting the median cables and overturning on its side. Both refused medical treatment at the scene, Highway Patrol reported.

 

Another accident on Interstate 70 over the weekend left a Maryland Heights man moderately injured.

Jerimiah D. Alberty, 18, was driving a 2005 GMC Envoy west at the 146.6 mile marker when he traveled off the right side of the road, striking a guard rail and overturning.
