William Woods University conferred 836 degrees to students on Saturday.

The new graduates participated in the Fulton school's traditional Ivy Ceremony in the morning, walking across the bridge over Senior Lake.

There were two other graduation ceremonies featuring speakers William Cather Hook, a landscape artist, and Marty Martin-Forman, retired COO of the state hospital in Fulton and former president of the Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center.
