A Fulton woman died in a Monday morning car accident on Interstate 70, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report.
Mary L. Payne, 50, was pronounced dead at the accident scene, reported at 10:35 a.m. Monday at mile marker 121.8 in Boone County.
According to the Patrol, her 2001 Jeep Explorer was traveling west when it went off the right side of the highway, overcorrected to the left and overturned in the median, ejecting the driver. She was not wearing a safety device, the Patrol added.
