Fulton girls basketball’s Arnold and Henderson named Central MO Media all-district

Fulton Hornets Audrey Arnold and Kier Henderson took home their third postseason accolade this year, selected to the Central Missouri Media's Class 4 girls all-district teams.

Arnold, a 5-foot, 9-inch sophomore, made the first team, and Henderson, a 5-3 senior, was named to the second team.

Guiding Fulton most nights, Arnold recorded 366 points, 132 rebounds, 56 assists and 19 blocks this season. She went 98-of-189 from 2 (51.9 percent), 43-of-115 from 3 (37.4 percent) and 41-of-64 from the free-throw line (64.1 percent).

In addition to her Central Missouri Media all-district selection, Arnold was named first-team all-conference and the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association's Class 4 District 8 all-district this year.

Henderson, the Hornets' senior leader, scored 152 points, 129 rebounds, 65 assists, and three blocks on the year. She converted 30-of-102 from 2 (29.4 percent), 11-of-57 from 3 (19.3 percent), and 59-of-89 from the charity stripe (66.3 percent).

Along with her Central Missouri Media all-district inclusion, Henderson received the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association's Class 4 District 8 all-district and second-team all-conference.

Aside from Fulton, the schools in the Central Missouri Media's Class 4 all-district girls teams were Blair Oaks, Boonville, Cuba, Eldon, Hallsville, Marshall, Osage, Owensville, Salem, Southern Boone and St. James.

Below are the Class 4 girls coach of the year and the remaining first-team and second-team all-district selections chosen by Central Missouri Media.

Eldon: Sydney Halderman, 5-5, senior.
