Legal counsel for Brian Dorsey requested his April 9 execution be prohibited.
A news release states attorneys from Phillips Black and BCLP requested the Cole County Circuit Court prohibit Dorsey's execution under Missouri Department of Corrections Acting Director Trevor Foley.
