For the first time in their careers, the Fulton Hornets' Audrey Arnold and Kier Henderson were named all-district, announced the Missouri High School Basketball Coaches Association Monday via X.

Arnold and Henderson were two of the 10 selections on the Class 4 District 8 all-district team. Class 4 District 8 champion Moberly swept the superlative awards, with Grace Billington and Asa Fanning winning district co-players of the year and Tony Vestal coach of the year.

Arnold, who also earned her first first-team all-conference selection, totaled 366 points, 132 rebounds, 58 assists and 19 blocks this season. She converted 98-of-189 2s (51.9 percent), 43-of-115 3s (37.4 percent) and 41-of-64 free throws (64.1 percent).

In her final year as a Hornet, Henderson was named second-team all-conference and tallied 152 points, 129 rebounds, 65 assists and three blocks. She made 30-of-102 2s (29.4 percent), 11-of-57 3s (19.3 percent) and 59-of-89 free throws (66.3 percent).

"I first have to say that I think Kier should have made first team instead of second-team all-conference," Fulton girls basketball coach Clayton Stewart said. "I think she at least tied with (Haley) Baker from Moberly as the best point guard in the NCMC. As for the all-district team, like the all-conference team, I just nominate my players, and the other coaches vote, and they saw what I have seen all season: two of the best players around. They are both very deserving of the award."

On Friday, Fulton held its awards banquet. The Hornets' Henderson won free throw champion, Davara Cannon heart of a champion, Ali Skinner newcomer award, Dezteni Galbreath-Chambers most improved award, Aubrey Fleetwood and Arianna Connor co-defensive player award, Bre Richmond sixth-player award Henderson and Reagan Echlemeier Hornet award and Arnold MVP.
