MONTGOMERY CITY - The No. 4 seed North Callaway Thunderbirds rolled past the No. 5 Montgomery County Wildcats 42-28 in the first round of the Montgomery County JV Tournament on Monday night.
Sophomore forward Justin Popp led North Callaway (7-4) with 13 points and freshman guard Andrew Locastro came up with nine.
The Thunderbirds will face either South Callaway or Clopton in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. todday in the high school gym.
