Junior Blake Parker captured medalist honors with a 38 to direct the South Callaway Bulldogs to the championship of the Callaway Cup on Monday at Tanglewood Golf Course.
South Callaway secured first place with a 185 team total, followed by North Callaway in second with a 213 and Fulton third with a 233. New Bloomfield was not able to field a full team.
New Bloomfield junior Gannon Withers came in second behind Parker with a 41 and North Callaway junior Tayler Vaughn was third with a 46. South Callaway senior Logan Taylor, South Callaway junior Braeden Sconce and Fulton junior Isaac Franklin each shot a 47 to share fourth place and North Callaway sophomore Ryan Weber finished seventh with a 49.
South Callaway plays in the Versailles Invitational at 8:30 this morning, while North Callaway hosted a quad meet at Tanglewood on Tuesday. Fulton competed in a triangular with host Eldon and Stover on Tuesday, while New Bloomfield plays in a quad meet at Eugene at 4 p.m. Thursday.
