2 Holts Summit residents arrested for child sexual abuse offenses

A Holts Summit man and woman were arrested May 6 for multiple counts of child sexual abuse and related offenses, according to a Callaway County Sheriff's Office press release.

Michael Kreps, 38 of Holts Summit, was arrested for eight counts of statutory sodomy, three counts of child molestation, two counts of sexual exploitation of a child, one count of statutory rape, one count of promoting child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography and one count of tampering with a victim, the release stated. He is in custody at the Callaway County Jail and, per a request in Callaway County's arrest warrant, Kreps is being held without bond.

of sexual exploitation of a child, the release stated. Wolfe is also in custody at the Callaway County Jail without bond, also per the arrest warrant's request.

These arrests, the release stated, resulted from an "extensive investigation dating back to 2011." The Callaway County Sheriff's Office, Holts Summit Police Department, Boone County Sheriff's Office Cyber Crimes Unit and the Rolla Police Department all aided in the investigation. Three separate victims were identified and, the release stated that their families were notified.

The investigation is ongoing. The Callaway County Sheriff's Office asks that any information regarding children who may have been cared for by Kreps or Wolfe be reported to them.
