Medal performances by sophomore Gannon Withers and seniors Tyler Grace and Ridge Martin highlighted the Wildcats' effort at the Class 1, District 2 championships Monday at Tan-Tar-A Resort.
Withers grabbed fifth place by carding a 15-over par 85. Grace shot an 88, good for sixth place, and Martin logged a 98 to finish in a three-way for 13th.
New Bloomfield didn't field enough golfers to register a team score. Barat Academy's Sean Weber posted a 76 to win the individual title, while Tipton (390) secured the team championship.
Withers, Grace and Martin will compete at the Sectional 1 championships at 9 a.m. Monday, May 11, at the Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau.
