The Callaway County Extension Center will hold a series of financial education classes starting this week and continuing through May. The Extension Center, located at 5803 County Road 302 in Fulton, will hold one class each month at a cost of $10 per person.
All classes will be from 10 a.m. to noon and 6-8 p.m. on the day they are offered. The classes are:
•On Jan. 28, "Getting financially organized." The course will go over how to get "financially organized and eliminate financial chaos," according to an Extension Center press release.
•On Feb. 19, "Top 10 financial tips for 2015." The course will discuss the top 10 tips for managing money in 2015, according to the release.
•On March 25, "Your financial game plan." The course will offer advice on how to "stay in the financial game of managing your money," according to the release.
•On April 23, "Who gets Grandma's yellow pie plate." The course will help those in attendance understand how to transfer non-titled property, according the the release.
•On May 27, "Safeguard your savings." The course will provide an overview of investments and retirement information, according to the release.
