The Lady Bulldogs couldn't fight out of a 19-8 first quarter hole in bowing to the Rangers in non-conference action 48-41 on Monday night.
The bulk of Iberia's damage in the opening frame came off four successful 3-pointers.
"We got down early," South Callaway head coach Darren Humphrey said. "We came out flat and, really and truly, I would say that (Iberia) really capitalized with their offense"
The Lady Bulldogs (9-5) outgained the Rangers 14-13 in the second, but still trailed 32-22 at the break.
South Callaway put a big dent in their deficit with a 13-4 spurt in the third, trimming the Iberia's advantage to 36-35 entering the fourth.
But Iberia put the game away with a 12-6 scoring advantage in the final period.
"I thought we played well defensively, especially in the third quarter," Humphrey said. "But we're not putting quarters together.
"We have to capitalize on some things that we, as a young team, need to recognize quicker."
Junior guard Kennedy Baker sparked the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points. Sophomore center Konnor Arrowood finished with 13 points, while sophomore guard Nicole Horstman posted 10.
Faith Duncan accounted for a game-high 16 points to pace the Rangers. Reagan Streibel and Jordan Lawson tallied 12 and 11 points, respectively.
South Callaway prevailed in the junior varsity game 48-18.
Freshman guard Kaci Jordan led the Lady Bulldogs with a game-high 14 points. Freshman guard Ashley Potter added 12 for South Callaway (5-2).
Laney Rollins tallied seven points to lead Iberia.
The Lady Bulldogs travel to Linn for a Show-Me Conference tilt at 6 p.m. Thursday.
