Senior Nick Zink and junior Adam Smith finished in the top 10 in the 400 meters and weight throw, respectively, for the Owls at Friday's season-opening Missouri Invitational.
Zink took fourth place in the 400 with a time of 50.90 seconds. Smith came in ninth in the weight throw with a heave of 50 feet, 2 inches.
William Woods University competes at the Illinois College Snowbird Open on Jan. 24.
