Senior first baseman Stephanie Davis' 4-for-4, five-RBI eruption sparked the Lady Wildcats to a 13-2, five-inning win over the Shamrocks in Tuesday's home opener.
Davis doubled to lead four multi-hit performers for New Bloomfield (2-0).
Sophomore catcher Shelby Ruppel was 3-for-4 with an RBI, while junior starter Madison Love was 2-for-2 with a triple and two driven in. Sophomore shortstop Madi Craighead was 2-for-3 with three runs scored as the Lady Wildcats racked up 14 hits.
Love (2-0) tossed a one-hitter, striking out seven, walking two and giving up two unearned runs.
New Bloomfield opens Show-Me Conference play at Tuscumbia at 5 p.m. Thursday.
