The city of Auxvasse canceled its boil advisory at about 1:30 p.m. today, according to City Clerk Missy Hooks. Water is now safe to drink.
The boil advisory started noon Monday and affected the entire east and northeast side of Main Street, starting from Chestnut Street and moving north to the end of North Callaway Mobile Manor. Construction for the Auxvasse's water improvement project caused the city to cut off water while water was transferred from the old water system to the new one.
