A traffic accident on U.S. Highway 54 near I-70 left a Mexico man with serious injuries Monday night.
Sean M. Ward, 18, of Mexico, who was not driving, suffered injuries when he ran on foot eastbound on U.S. 54 and into the path of Adam K. Kramer, 26, of Linton, Indiana, who was driving his 2005 GMC Sierra, according to an online Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
Callaway County Ambulance transported Ward to University Hospital in Columbia. Kramer's vehicle sustained minor damage.
