Fulton bows to Boonville to open NCMC tennis play

The Hornets slipped to 0-3 on the season after dropping their North Central Missouri Conference opener to the Pirates 8-4 on Thursday night.

"The guys battled really hard," Fulton head coach Rob Fisher said. "There were a lot of long rallies and they handled playing in some extreme wind.

"This should be a big confidence boost for the team. Hopefully, it can propel us into future matches."
