The Lady Bulldogs fell to the Hallsville Lady Indians 14-12 in the championship game of the South Callaway Middle School Tournament on Saturday.
They began tournament play with a 22-0 thumping of Versailles earlier that day.
Madison Rhoades had four hits in the tournament, including three triples. Kelsey Logan also posted four hits, chipping in a double and a single, while Natalie Edler, Destiny Musgrove and Hayley Mealy all had three hits.
South Callaway hosted Fayette on Monday, but results were not available at press time. The Lady Bulldogs play at North Callaway at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
