MSD volleyball team falls to Oklahoma

Senior middle hitter Joyla Ingram and sophomore setter Tyra Rogers both had six points in the Lady Eagles' 25-18, 17-25 and 25-17 loss to the Lady Indians on Saturday.

Missouri School for the Deaf (0-2) got five service points from sophomore setter Cheyenne Dickerson, four from sophomore outside hitter Elizabeth Harrison and two from sophomore outside hitter Avalon Saxton.

"They played their hearts out today," Lady Eagles head coach Heather Dunn said. "They're still learning the game, but overall they played well."

MSD fell in the junior varsity match 25-19, 17-25 and 15-7. The Lady Eagles (0-2) were led by senior Danna Harvey's 13 service points, while senior Azara Macker added 11.

MSD plays at Arkansas School for the Deaf at 10 a.m. next Saturday.
