Westminster College is seeking public feedback

Westminster College is seeking public comments about itself as part of the school's periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.

The school will host a team from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association Jan. 26-27.

Westminster has been accredited by the commission since 1913, according to a press release. The college was founded in 1851. The Higher Learning Commission's team will review and evaluate the institution's ongoing ability to meet its accreditation criteria. Westminster invites the public to submit written comments about the college.

Comments should focus on "substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs," the press release stated. All comments must be in writing. The commission needs to receive all comments by Dec. 26.

Anyone interested in submitting a response can mail their written comments to: Public Comment on Westminster College, The Higher Learning Commission 230 South LaSalle Street, Suite 7-500 Chicago, IL 60604-1411.
