The Lady Owls rolled to 25-15, 25-14 and 25-12 AMC sweep of the Lady Hornets on Thursday night.
Freshman setter Brittney Engelbrecht led all players with 31 assists and tied for the game-high with 13 digs to guide William Woods University (19-13, 6-3 American Midwest Conference). Freshman outside hitter Abbi McKnelly added 11 digs and tied senior outside hitter Kristen Bauer with a game-high seven kills.
William Woods hosted 19th-ranked Evangel University and Friends University on Saturday at Anderson Arena. Results were not available at press time.
