The fourth-seeded Lady Owls hit on just 11.1 percent of their attacks in a 25-22, 25-13 and 25-17 loss to the top-seeded Lady Pirates in the semifinals of the American Midwest Conference postseason tournament Thursday night.
William Woods finished its season at 23-16.
Freshman setter Brittney Engelbrecht produced a double-double with 19 assists and 11 digs for the Lady Owls. Freshman outside hitter Abbi McKnelly had a team-high seven kills, while senior defensive specialist Abbie O'Mara guided William Woods with 13 digs.
Park (33-0) - ranked No. 2 in the nation - will host second-seeded Missouri Baptist University for the AMC title at 1 p.m. Saturday.
