Four Owls finished in double figures and William Woods connected on 50 percent of its free throws in securing an 81-73 American Midwest Conference win over the Park University Pirates on Saturday at Breckon Sports Center.
Sophomore guard Patrick Lewis led the Owls with 16 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field and going a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. Sophomore guard Jayson Saldana went 5-for-6 from the field and 3-of-3 from long range to total 15 points while senior guards Seth Thomas and Jonathon Nutt added 14 and 12 points, respectively.
