The eighth-seeded Thunderbirds were outgained 22-7 in the first half of a 48-42 consolation bracket loss to the Tigers at the Centralia Tournament on Thursday afternoon.
North Callaway (0-4) couldn't trim the deficit any lower despite only being outscored 26-25 after intermission.
Senior center Steven Coleman led the T-Birds with 10 points, while pulling down six rebounds. Freshman forward Tanner Pezold scored seven points, while his older brother, Michael, also scored seven and led the team with eight rebounds.
Macon (1-4) was led by Jon Murray's career-high 24 points.
North Callaway opens Eastern Missouri Conference play at home against Van-Far at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
