The Wildcats - seeded fourth in the Tipton Tournament - topped No. 3 Jamestown 54-42 in the third-place game on Saturday evening.
Junior guard Grant Nichols guided New Bloomfield with 17 points and five assists, while freshman forward Jak Kitchens posted nine points and a team-leading 13 rebounds. Junior guard Derek Shikles also scored nine points, while handing out four assists.
The Wildcats host South Callaway in an SMC game at 6 p.m. Friday.
